Societies

A comprehensive database of societies devoted to the recorder and early music with their contact and other details may be accessed via the interactive table below.

There are societies devoted to the recorder and early music in many large cities of the world whose activities variously include group playing, talks, examinations, concerts, workshops, and residential schools of direct interest to recorder players. Many produce newsletters and journals. Some maintain libraries of scores and instruments for hire.

The operation of this table is (or should be) self-explanatory.  Inevitably, some of the contact details given here are likely to be outdated; in some cases they are unknown. I would very much appreciate any corrections or additions you think necessary.
